When I was a kid, I remember us owning a telescope. Have you ever looked through one? It can take you to a place of unfolding which was only an imagination. Today, there are many different brands of telescopes that are more powerful and technically better than the telescope we had as a kid. My Dad would set it all up for us when the night was bright and clear so that we could look at the shining stars and the craters on the moon. The telescope was small, but to a young child, it was the coolest thing ever to see beyond anything I had ever seen with my own little eyes.
I can feel a shift in my life. The molding, the reassurance, the truth about my identity and all of the moving that is happening. It’s hard to keep up to all of the changes at times. It can be overwhelming. God has been strategically in such a gentle way making these changes. Throughout the day, yesterday, He was reminding me again of how He sees me through others. When I first began on this art journey with God, He replaced the lies about myself with the truth of who I am. The color purple was my anchor color for a long time to remind me that I am royalty, chosen and His Holy daughter. And of course as God only knows how to speak to me, yesterday , through someone else, He shared with me a precious, rare, purple stone. Also, words were shared with me that reminded me of an anchor verse that til this day it is fully embraced that I am His masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus. ( Ephesians 2:10 )
Life at times can get in the way and we can easily get caught up in what is going on around us and forget our true identity. He brought me back to my foundation. You see, without trusting in my identity and authority in Christ, it is difficult to open my eyes to all that is beyond my wildest imagination. It’s hard to see beyond what only I can see, for my art ministry or life. I know that God has so much more for me. I do not doubt that. It’s exciting to watch and see as it all unfolds. Every once in a while, my eyes need to be re-directed to look through the same telescope. It doesn’t make sense at times what He does and how He moves, and that’s ok! It’s not going to because I am not God.
Ephesians 3:20 (TPT) “Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.”
Psalm 119:18 (TPT) “Open my eyes to see the miracle wonders hidden in Your word.”
God is taking me beyond anything that I can ever imagine! Beyond what I know or farther than my human eyes can see! Beyond my own feelings or control.
He is moving us beyond to a place of wonder and awe!
Take us beyond!
